Family Photoshoot in Amsterdam

Pastel colours, the canals around Prinsengracht, and a mother with her two children sharing a little piece of Amsterdam.

The family was staying near Prinsengracht, just a short walk from our meeting point. Their mother had a clear vision for the photographs, so we shaped a custom route through the Canal Belt and walked a little farther to bring it to life. Her friend joined us for a few photographs, too, becoming part of this small record of their time together.

We spent 90 minutes exploring and making the photographs she had imagined. The beautiful outfits, the familiar faces, and the city around them all came together beautifully. The extra steps were worth it.

When families ask me where to take their photos, I start by asking what kinds of images they love and where they’re staying. From there, we can plan a route that feels personal to their time in Amsterdam.
