Emmy & Matheusz

The sweetness and connection of Emmy and Matheusz connected us instantly. We talked and went for wine and tapas at their favorite place in Amsterdam. We talked about their hopes and expectations for their wedding day. We made a plan over coffee, and we changed the plan. Something I love to do with every couple is set up a Whatsapp group where they can share everything wedding related with me. If I have time, I jump to one of their venue visits or even make a Behind the Scenes of the wedding gown during the search. This is how I try to have only 15-20 weddings per year. I want to be personal and have the time to connect, to be familiar with how you are together, who are your essential persons, and what vibe you are looking for in your memories. 

This is why meeting your wedding photographer is essential. We will be silent observers during the wedding day. You will enjoy and relax, knowing that what we build before the wedding day - information, questionnaires, conversations, and even one uitje - will grab the vibe you are looking for.

Emmy and Matheusz's wedding day was lovely and relaxed; everyone surrounded them with their love, in person and online.

Before the wedding, we set up together a phone with a tripod, so the family that couldn't be in Amsterdam could witness the wedding. And we took pictures with them at the end of the ceremony. We were less than fifteen people, including me :). It was a very intimate and personal wedding.

The stories, the vows, and how relaxed the entire vibe of the day was, give me unforgettable memories every time I see their pictures. Later, I prepared a box with beautifully printed pictures for them that I will show you soon. 

As always, pictures are shown first to the couple, giving them time to showcase their memories before they are on my blog. And if I can leave you with something today:

"Follow your own rules, and make it your wedding. Meet your vendors, get along with them, put them together, working as a team for you. Ultimately, your memories matter, and I am happy to be in charge of them."
