This one started with a clear wish for a full documentary approach. No posing, no stopping, just walking through Amsterdam and letting the city do its thing. From the first minutes, it felt easy. Natural. Honest.
As we walked, something shifted. They began asking for direction. Small prompts, gentle ideas. That mix of documentary and guidance turned into something really special. Playful moments, romantic pauses, and wide scenes that showed Amsterdam exactly as it felt that day.
We covered two different areas in just 30 minutes, moving fast but never rushed. The energy was so good that editing became the hardest part. Too many strong images, too many moments worth keeping.
This is the kind of session that reminds me why I love photographing people in motion. Walking, laughing, pausing, connecting. Real moments first, with just enough direction to shape the story.
Enjoy the pictures, and see you next time in Amsterdam.
